A couple of former moats on each side of the manor have been artistically turned into gardens.
The first moat is now an Italian garden, inspired by the Renaissance water gardens. The water gently pours from a wall mounted fountain through a serie of diamond-shaped basins. Some pits, watered by porous pipes, host some water plants as hosta, ligularia, iris, ferns, astilbes, euphorbia and gunnera. These plants blossom from May to September.
The fragrances and the colours of the plants invites you to a historical journey in the Italian Quattrocento.
